At about 9 am on the same day, in Quang Son 4 village, Duong Hoa commune, people discovered a crocodile in a ditch.
The first person to discover the crocodile was Mr. Ly Soi Van (born 2003, residing in Quang Son 4 village). After discovering it, Mr. Van quickly reported it to the local authorities.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Duong Hoa commune police force was present at the scene together with the people to organize the control and encirclement of the safe crocodile individual.
The crocodile weighs about 50kg and is about 2.3m long.
Currently, functional agencies are verifying and clarifying the reason why crocodiles appeared in residential areas, and at the same time reviewing to ensure safety for people.
The crocodile has been handed over to the Regional Forest Protection Department for reception and management according to regulations and continued to verify the origin.
