Immediately after receiving the news, the Quang Ninh Rescue and Relief Team mobilized forces and vehicles to approach the scene and bring the victims ashore in the Hon Gai beach area, Ha Long ward.
Ha Long Ward has directed the Ward Military Command, Ward Police and related units to urgently be present to handle the incident.
According to information from relatives and functional agencies, at about 5:30 am on the same day, the two people used a small boat to go to the sea area near Dau Moi Temple to lift their nets to catch seafood when the incident occurred.
By professional measures and identification, functional agencies identified the victims as Mr. and Mrs. V.T. B (born 1980) and Mr. N.V.K (born 1979), both residing in Ha Tu ward.
The initial cause was that the boat sank, causing two victims to drown and die.
Currently, relatives have taken the victims home for burial according to local customs.
Ha Tu ward has initially supported funeral expenses of 25 million VND/person; assigned the Fatherland Front Committee, mass organizations and neighborhoods to coordinate to support the family to organize a thoughtful funeral and continue to have measures to support the family.
