The car was driven by Mr. T.V. L (born in 1980, residing in Binh Dan village, Kim Thanh commune, Hai Phong city), who is also the owner of the goods.
Through inspection, functional forces discovered on the car 112 bottles of white wine and 864 Chinese-origin, smuggled mooncakes.
At 2:10 PM on September 7th, at the Ka Long market gate area, Mong Cai 2 ward, Market Management Team No. 1 continued to search car license plate 30L-303. xx, discovering 2,520 Chinese-origin, smuggled mooncakes.
The vehicle driver, who is also the owner of the goods, is Mr. N.A.D (born in 1990, residing in Ka Long area, Mong Cai 2 ward).
According to functional agencies, the two shop owners confessed to buying the above-mentioned mooncakes and wine floating on the market, without invoices, documents, or papers proving their origin, and were transporting them to sell for profit.
Market Management Team No. 1 is completing the dossier, reporting to competent authorities for sanctioning and forcing the destruction of all violating goods.
