On the evening of September 13, the Ho Chi Minh City Command updated information on the search and repatriation of martyrs' remains at Le Thi Rieng Park.
During the day, the forces handled more than 300m3 of soil, and at the same time expanded the search area in Zone A. Three excavators, one dump truck and two 3.5-ton trucks were mobilized to serve the excavation and transportation of soil. Among the 11 sets of martyrs' remains discovered, there are 7 sets with artifacts.
Thus, after 83 days of implementing the task, the forces have discovered and collected 627 sets of martyrs' remains, of which 294 sets have artifacts attached.
The number of remains collected includes 594 individual sets and 33 sets at 8 collective grave locations. Among them, 2 collective grave locations were discovered in Zone A and 6 locations in Zone B.
The search and repatriation of martyrs' remains at Le Thi Rieng Park is continuing to be implemented.
