According to a report by the Repatriation Team of Martyrs' remains under the Ho Chi Minh City Command, on September 12, forces continued to deploy the search and repatriation of martyrs' remains at the 2nd ditch in Zone A, Le Thi Rieng Park.
During the day, the task force handled more than 300m3 of soil, and at the same time continued to expand the search area in this area.
To serve the excavation and transportation of soil, the Ho Chi Minh City Command mobilized 3 excavators, 1 dump truck and 2 3.5-ton trucks, ensuring the progress of task implementation.
As a result, on September 12, at ditch No. 2 of Zone A, functional forces discovered and collected 11 sets of martyrs' remains, of which 8 sets had artifacts attached.
Accumulated from June 23 to the end of September 12, 2026, functional forces have discovered and collected 616 sets of martyrs' remains, of which 287 sets contain artifacts.
Among the total sets of remains found, there are 583 individual sets of remains and 33 sets of remains at 8 collective grave locations. Among them, 2 collective grave locations were discovered in Zone A and 6 locations in Zone B.
