Ha Dong Commune People's Committee (Hai Phong City) said that local functional forces have found the body of child T.T.P after many hours of organizing urgent searches in the area.
According to initial information, in the late afternoon of December 29, people discovered in the Ngoc Diem dike area in Ha Dong commune an electric motorbike, sandals and some personal belongings left behind. Recognizing abnormal signs, people quickly reported to the local authorities.
Immediately after receiving the news, Ha Dong Commune People's Committee mobilized police forces, militia and related forces to urgently organize searches.
Search work was deployed along the Thai Binh riverbank area and suspicious locations. At about 8 pm on the same day, functional forces discovered the body of child T.T.P. in the riverbed.
According to information from Ha Dong Commune People's Committee, child T.T.P. was born in 2008, residing in Tien Kieu village, is the child of Mr. Tran Van Th. (born in 1979) and Ms. Tran Thi T. (born in 1980). After completing the procedures according to regulations, the child's body was handed over to the family for funeral arrangements.
Local authorities said they are coordinating with the family and functional agencies to continue verifying and clarifying the cause of the incident, and at the same time organizing visits, encouragement, and sharing the loss with the victim's family before the unfortunate incident.
