From 8am on January 18 (Saturday), at the Youth Cultural House (Pham Ngoc Thach Street, District 1), many people gathered to visit and take photos.
The 2025 Vietnamese Tet Festival is taking place here, with many miniatures and spaces set up like roads lined with yellow apricot blossoms; a street of scholars selling red parallel sentences, calligraphy... in addition to cultural activities, arts, and folk games. The most special is the miniature space "Spring Day House", which recreates a traditional stilt house in An Giang region.
According to the reporter's records, most of the people coming here wear traditional ao dai, creating a colorful space.
Ms. Minh Nguyet (Thu Duc City) said that she was very surprised with the scenery at Ong Do Street and Mai Street this year. "To be here at 7:30, my roommate and I got up at 5:00 a.m., got dressed, had breakfast, and then took the Metro here, but when we arrived, there were already a lot of people. The space this year was very impressive to me. We took a lot of beautiful photos," Ms. Minh Nguyet shared.
Ms. Nguyen Ha Thu (Binh Thanh District) said that going to the Youth Cultural House to take photos before Tet has become an annual activity for her family.
"Every year, this place is decorated with many miniatures and spaces imbued with traditional culture, while my husband and I were both born and raised in Ho Chi Minh City, and rarely have the opportunity to see spaces like this. Therefore, we want to come here so that our two children have the opportunity to see and explore the cultural and artistic activities or folk games taking place here, in addition to taking photos and capturing happy moments of the family," said Ms. Thu.
The Vietnamese Tet At Ty 2025 Festival at the Youth Cultural House takes place from January 13 (December 14) to February 2 (the 5th day of Tet).
