According to Lao Dong's record on January 14, at the 2025 Vietnamese Tet Festival held at the Youth Cultural House - on the second day of opening to welcome guests, quite a lot of people came here to have fun and take pictures.
Ms. Nguyen Tien (District 1) was engrossed in taking pictures under the yellow apricot forest and said that this is a familiar place that she and her friends choose to take pictures every Lunar New Year.
"Every year, there are many beautiful decorations here. This year, I like the apricot road the most, it feels like I'm standing in the middle of a bright yellow apricot forest," Ms. Tien happily said.
Ms. Lan Anh (Thu Duc City) said that, learning from last year's experience, near Tet, there were too many people coming to take pictures and have fun, so this year, when she knew that Mai Street and Ong Do Street had just opened to welcome visitors, she and her friends bought clothes to come here to take pictures.
"Our group prepared ao dai, put on makeup, and traveled more than 10km to get here," said Ms. Lan Anh.
The Vietnamese Tet Festival At Ty 2025 will take place from January 13 (December 14) to February 2 (the 5th day of Tet).
The highlight of this year's festival is the "spring house" built to simulate the image of a stilt house in An Giang, with a kitchen, a garden full of spring flowers and grass, bringing peaceful Tet days, and a space of apricot flowers combined with the shape of 5,000 artistic bamboo trees.
In addition, there is also a space to display and recreate traditional craft villages of the nation such as Lai Thieu pottery village (Binh Duong province), Dinh Yen mat village (Lap Vo district, Dong Thap province), My An weaving village (Cho Moi district, An Giang)...
