Philanthropists in Da Nang City visited and gave money to support the family of the victim in the case of a male delivery worker who died from suspected beating.

According to Mr. Tran Bui Quoc Binh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Phuoc Commune, Hoa Vang District (Da Nang City), Mr. Nguyen Huu Hien (from Hoa Phuoc Commune) kindly accepted to sponsor and take care of the education of the 5-year-old daughter of Mr. Tran Thanh, the victim in the suspected case of a male delivery man (shipper) being beaten to death on the evening of January 17.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Hien also wants to create conditions for Mr. Thanh's wife to work at a garment factory in Hoa Vang district with a salary of 8-9 million VND/month.

Previously, the Secretary of the Hoa Vang District Party Committee (Da Nang City) visited, encouraged and supported Mr. Tran Thanh's family. The Secretary of the Hoa Vang District Party Committee requested Hoa Phuoc Commune to create favorable conditions and encourage the mother and son to continue living in the locality. In the immediate future, Mr. Thanh's family will be classified as poor households to enjoy social security policies.

On the evening of January 17, shipper Tran Thanh returned home from Giang Nam 2 village (Hoa Phuoc commune) looking tired and disheveled. At that time, Thanh told his wife that he was beaten while delivering goods, then lay down on the bed. The wife thought her husband was asleep and did not pay attention to what had just happened. A while later, seeing her husband gradually faint, the wife was shocked to discover that the victim had died, and there was no time to take him to the emergency room. The family was then instructed by the Hoa Vang district police to conduct an autopsy and learned that the cause of death was a traumatic brain injury.
