    Phu Tho - On the evening of May 2nd, many places in the province had rain, especially in Yen Son commune, there was recorded hail with large grains.

    Talking to a reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper on the evening of May 2nd, a leader of Yen Son commune, Phu Tho province - confirmed that ice rain had just occurred in the area. However, no significant damage has been recorded so far.

    On the same evening, some people took photos and shared on social networks images of ice rain with large pellets, estimated to be the size of a tennis ball.

    Ms. Ngoc Anh - a resident of Yen Son commune - shared: "Not only Yen Son commune but also Huong Can commune (adjacent to Yen Son commune) has hail. From childhood to adulthood, I have never seen hail with such a large grain size. Hail caused fibro cement roofs to be punctured.

    Yen Son commune was established after the merger of the communes: Tinh Nhue, Luong Nha and Yen Son of the old Thanh Son district, Phu Tho province.
