On March 11, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Director of Road Management Area III - said that the unit had deployed 4 construction teams to repair damaged locations, immediately after Lao Dong Newspaper reported.
"In recent days, we have mobilized 4 construction teams, of which the section through Song Cau town alone has 2 teams: One team with local repair at Km1279-Km1294 and one team at the Km1279+650 signal light intersection. The section through Tuy An district is also arranged with 1 point from Km1295-Km1338.
Currently, the basic damaged locations have been handled. The 80m2 road surface through Xuan Dai ward and the 400m2 section through Xuan Phu ward are expected to be patched in the next two days, if the weather is favorable," Mr. Binh informed.
As Lao Dong Newspaper has reported, in the last days of February 2025, many sections of the road through Xuan Dai Ward (Song Cau Town) have appeared to be seriously damaged and degraded. The road surface is peeling, full of potholes, rocks and gravel scattered everywhere, seriously affecting traffic.
Not only does this pose a potential risk of traffic accidents, it also disrupts the lives of people living along the national highway, making making a living difficult.
The whole family depends on the breakfast restaurant to make a living, but for the past few months, the restaurant of Ms. Nguyen Thi Le (50 years old, living in Xuan Dai ward) has always been closed due to inconveniences from the surrounding environment.
"The house is on the road but always has to be closed. When it is sunny, dust flies everywhere, when it rains, the water stagnates and becomes mud, the roads are muddy, customers are afraid to visit the restaurant, and cannot do business.
