According to the Quang Ngai Provincial Military Command, from June 5 to now, the forces have organized surveys using radar technology through the ground on an area of about 300m2 and dug more than 506.8m of exploration trenches in suspicious areas within the Dak Cam Ward Martyrs' Cemetery and along Truong Chinh street. To date, martyrs' remains, artifacts, and exhibits related to martyrs have not been found.

Ms. Y Ngoc - Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for searching, repatriating and identifying martyrs' remains of the province - also just came to inspect and encourage officers and soldiers of Team K53 who are performing the task of surveying, exploring, and searching for martyrs' remains on Truong Chinh road section in Kon Tum and Dak Cam wards.
At the scene, Ms. Y Ngoc listened to the leaders of the Provincial Military Command and the commander of Team K53 report on the situation of task deployment, progress of survey, exploration, search, force and vehicle assurance work as well as difficulties and obstacles in the process of performing tasks.
After listening to the report, Ms. Y Ngoc acknowledged and praised the spirit of responsibility, efforts, and striving of officers and soldiers of Team K53 in performing this meaningful task. At the same time, she requested the forces to continue to promote the spirit of responsibility, closely coordinate with local authorities and functional agencies, accurately review and verify information, and organize surveys and scientific searches.
Ms. Y Ngoc emphasized that the work of surveying, exploring, searching, and repatriating martyrs' remains is a particularly important political task, reflecting the tradition of morality "When drinking water, remember the source", "Gratitude" of the nation.
Therefore, each officer and soldier needs to uphold the spirit of responsibility, determination to overcome all difficulties, not to miss any information or traces in order to soon search for and repatriate martyrs' remains to their motherland, meeting the aspirations of relatives of martyrs' families and people.
