According to statistics, in 13 districts, towns and cities of the province, there are currently more than 20,000m of documents and records related to administrative management, planning, investment, finance, culture - society, and project approval decisions. In particular, many records are directly related to people's lives and rights such as: land use right certificates, household registration records, business licenses, one-stop administrative procedures.
In order to ensure accuracy in the classification of documents, the Department of Home Affairs has issued guidelines on the handover of dossiers with permanent storage time to the Provincial Historical Archives Center. The highest goal is to ensure the process of transfer is fast and accurate, does not affect the state management activities, and does not interrupt the service of the people when implementing the new local government model.
It is expected that by June 10, all documents of 13 districts, towns and cities will be transferred to the Provincial History Museum Center for centralized preservation.
Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee has also issued Directive No. 05 on strengthening the management of clerical and archives in the process of organizing the organizational structure of the local political system, according to the policy of the Politburo. The instruction clearly states that the request must not damage, lost documents and databases; At the same time, clearly stipulating the responsibilities of the heads of agencies, organizations and units in statistics and adjustment of clerical and archival.
This is considered one of the key tasks, directly contributing to ensuring seamlessness in government operations and improving the quality of public service when the two-level administrative organization model officially comes into operation.
