On December 24, in Dong Trieu City, the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects of Traffic Works of Quang Ninh Province started construction of Provincial Road 327, connecting the provincial gate intersection to the main axis of Dong Trieu City center.
Provincial Road 327, when completed, will expand urban development space to the North, creating momentum for the development of the young city of Dong Trieu.
The route not only meets travel needs but also attracts tourists to the historical relics of the Tran Dynasty and Yen Tu scenic spot, while promoting trade between localities, contributing to socio-economic development.
The route has a total length of more than 11 km, designed to meet the standards of a grade III mountainous road with a 9 m wide roadbed, including 2 motor vehicle lanes and expanded sidewalks.
Along the route, the project will build 2 overpasses over Ho Lao stream and the railway, along with 2 intersections connecting to the provincial gate intersection and the main axis of Dong Trieu city center.
The total investment of the project is 580 billion VND from the provincial budget, of which more than 224 billion VND is for compensation and site clearance.
The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
The project is deployed on an area of over 35 hectares, based on the current provincial road 327 and expanded on both sides.
Dong Trieu City has completed the measurement and counting and is actively implementing the site clearance. Contractors have gathered equipment and human resources at the construction site and started construction at the handed-over sites.
