On the morning of July 1st, functional forces basically completed the sampling of martyrs' remains at Ha Tu Martyrs' Cemetery, Ha Tu ward.
After taking samples, the forces proceeded to clean up and restore the ground.
The sampling was implemented by the Steering Committee 515 of Quang Ninh province in coordination with Ha Tu ward from June 30.
Ha Tu Martyrs' Cemetery currently has 466 martyrs' graves; in this phase, functional forces are taking samples for 58 martyrs' graves that lack information.
To ensure progress and quality, the Provincial Steering Committee 515 has mobilized 2 working groups to carry out excavation, sample collection, sample preservation and tomb restoration steps according to professional procedures.
Despite the rainy weather, the forces still closely followed the scene, urgently deployed tasks, ensured proper technical procedures, and maintained solemnity at the cemetery.
Implementing the "Operation of 500 days and nights to promote the search, repatriation and identification of remains of martyrs with missing information", as of July 1, Quang Ninh has had 10/15 localities complete the work of taking samples of remains of martyrs with unidentified information, serving DNA testing.

Since the beginning of the campaign, Steering Committee 515 of Quang Ninh province has coordinated with localities to take samples at 607/803 martyrs' graves, reaching 75.6% of the plan.
Through excavation and sampling according to professional procedures, the forces collected 556 sets of remains.
After completing the sampling at Ha Tu Martyrs' Cemetery, the working groups will continue to deploy tasks in the remaining localities, including Ba Che commune, Binh Lieu commune, Van Don special zone, Mong Cai 3 ward and Viet Hung ward.
