In Ha Long City, the city held a meeting to welcome 309 soldiers who completed their military service and returned to build their homeland, after 2 years of military service to the Fatherland.
Many of them were rewarded for their training and youth union activities and were honored to be admitted into the Communist Party of Vietnam.
These are all important nuclei, trained in military discipline, ready to take on assigned tasks to contribute to the development of the unit, family and homeland.
Congratulating the discharged soldiers returning to their localities, Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung - Chairman of the City People's Committee, Chairman of the Military Service Council of Ha Long City - highly appreciated the progress and maturity in many aspects of the soldiers during their time of training, working and studying in the military environment.
We request that the demobilized soldiers this time continue to promote the qualities of “Uncle Ho’s soldiers”, be exemplary, take the lead in all areas of work, actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, contribute to the locality in developing the economy, culture, maintaining political security, social order and safety, building Ha Long City “Model - rich - civilized - affectionate”. On the side of agencies, units and localities, it is necessary to support job search and have practical solutions to solve employment, take care of stabilizing the lives of demobilized soldiers.
Along with the discharged soldiers, the ceremony was also attended by nearly 300 new recruits preparing to join the army and a large number of local people and students. Thereby contributing to educating the young generation about tradition, sense of responsibility, honor and pride in exercising the rights and obligations to protect the Fatherland and build the homeland.
Tien Yen district also organized to welcome 105 soldiers who had successfully completed their military service back to their locality.
During nearly 2 years of training and practice in the military environment, 100% of soldiers were educated and trained to improve their political qualities, military knowledge, sense of organization and discipline, and lifestyle; strictly comply with the Party's policies, the State's laws, and military rules and regulations.
Van Don district has 87 soldiers who have successfully completed their missions and returned to their localities, of which 11 soldiers were admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam; 27 soldiers were awarded Certificates of Merit in the annual "Determination to Win" emulation movement in the Army.
At the meeting, vocational training and labor recruitment facilities met, discussed and provided career guidance for demobilized soldiers returning to their localities to learn a trade and create jobs when needed.
Hai Ha district has 135 soldiers from 4 military units who have completed their military service and returned to their localities. After 2 years of enlistment in the units, during the new soldier training, 31 soldiers were sent to train non-commissioned officers and technical staff; 104 other soldiers were mobilized to training units and were on combat readiness duty, participating in the implementation of the unit's tasks. During the training process at the units, 1 soldier was awarded the title of Emulation Soldier, 3 soldiers were admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam; 26 soldiers were awarded the title of Advanced Soldier; 100% of the discharged soldiers strictly followed the laws, military discipline and regulations of the unit.
At the meeting, vocational training facilities and companies in Hai Ha Seaport Industrial Park exchanged, provided career guidance, and recruited workers to work at the company's factories and workshops, in order to create jobs and stable income for soldiers.
