Mr. Truong An Ninh - Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee said that the solution for cadre work has been thoroughly discussed by the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, with many comments, especially from the team of commune and ward secretaries and those directly involved in the grassroots.
One of the major challenges at present is that the number of cadres in many communes and wards is not enough, while the quality and professional qualifications of a number of cadres have not met practical requirements.
To overcome this, the Provincial Party Committee directed the Department of Home Affairs to comprehensively assess existing human resources. On that basis, the province will conduct retraining, organize regular additional training, and at the same time build a more transparent and strict cadre selection mechanism to ensure inheritance and development.
Training does not stop at administrative management knowledge, but also focuses on technology skills, digital capacity, meeting the requirements of digital transformation and international integration.
According to the direction of the Central Government, an important step is a comprehensive review to adjust human resources between levels, from province to commune, ensuring reasonable allocation, avoiding the situation of places with surplus and places with shortage.
The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department informed that building a team of cadres equal to the tasks is not only an immediate task but also a long-term solution, decisive for the development path of Quang Tri.
