When expanding the excavation area at Le Thi Rieng Cultural Park (Hoa Hung ward, Ho Chi Minh City), the search and repatriation force for martyrs' remains continued to record new results.

According to a report from the Team for Repatriating Martyrs' Remains (Ho Chi Minh City Command), on July 14, functional forces conducted excavations with a volume of about 50m3 of soil. Through this, the team discovered and exhumed an additional 5 sets of martyrs' remains and 4 sets of artifacts attached.
Thus, the total number of collected remains to date has reached 74 sets of individual remains and 1 set of collective remains.

Excavation work is still carried out according to the motto of caution and meticulousness. Each layer of soil is stripped by hand to ensure that it does not affect the remains and remaining artifacts. The remains after exhumation are cleaned, sorted, recorded and sampled for DNA testing. The collected artifacts continue to be preserved to serve the process of verifying the identities of the martyrs.
