In the last days of August, the capital Hanoi became brilliant. All over the streets, from the inner city to historical sites, everywhere you can see the red sky of flags, banners, and slogans celebrating National Day on September 2.
On central streets such as Hang Chao, Nguyen Thai Hoc, Hang Bong, rows of red flags with yellow stars flew wildly, extending the entire road.

The atmosphere of preparation for the country's big holiday is clearly visible through every window, balcony of a house hanging a flag, every street is bright in bright red.
Mr. Le Anh Dung (72 years old, living in Hang Chao Street) shared: "On time for National Day on September 2 this year, the whole neighborhood has changed their clothes. Red flags and bright flower lights make everyone happy. Seeing this scene, I remember the atmosphere of the past, when the whole country happily celebrated the Independence Day. Even though I have witnessed it many times, I still feel moved and proud".

In the Hoan Kiem Lake area, these days it attracts a large number of people and tourists. Flags, cheering billboards, and decorative lights were raised simultaneously, creating a bustling space filled with spirit.
Many tourists were excited, continuously recording these special moments with cameras and phones.

At the historic Ba Dinh Square, where many commemorative activities are about to take place, the renovation and decoration work is also being urgently completed.
The rows of red flags with yellow stars flying, billboards, posters... create a picture that is both heroic and sacred.

In the area of the Hanoi Flag Tower, a historical symbol of the capital, these days have become more majestic with the red color of the national flag flying on the top of the tower.
Nguyen Thu Ha (22 years old, a student at a university in Hanoi) said: " walking on the streets of central Hanoi these days is special. The streets of the red ward were lit with flags and flowers, crowded with people taking photos and recording beautiful moments. The atmosphere is both bustling and solemn, making me clearly feel the spirit of national pride".

The festive atmosphere also spread to small alleys and train tracks in the old quarter. Despite the modest area, many households still decorate the front of their houses and along the train tracks with red flags with yellow stars, making the small, narrow streets lively.

In just a few days, the whole country will enter the 80th National Day celebration. Hanoi is changing its face day by day, bustlingly preparing for the great national festival. The red color of the flag not only creates a brilliant scene but also lights up the hearts of the people with pride, solidarity and a spirit towards the Fatherland.
According to the plan, the parade and march will take place at 6:30 a.m. on September 2, 2025, at Ba Dinh Square and some central streets of the capital (according to the Project of the Ministry of National Defense).
