On August 22, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Hong Son signed and issued Plan No. 236/KH-UBND of the City People's Committee on organizing fireworks displays on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) in Hanoi.
Accordingly, the city has a total of 5 locations including 6 high-altitude fireworks display sites combined with low-altitude and artillery. Specifically, high-altitude fireworks display combined with low-altitude and fireworks (2 locations). Site No. 1 in front of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper headquarters, Hoan Kiem ward. Location No. 2 in front of the Hanoi Post Office, Hoan Kiem Ward.
Fireworks display at high and low altitudes (4 locations). Specifically, location No. 3 at Coconut Island, Thong Nhat Park, Hai Ba Trung Ward. Location No. 4 in front of the Water Sports Palace, National Sports Complex, Tu Liem Ward. Site No. 5 at Lac Long Quan Flower Garden, Tay Ho Ward. Site No. 6 at Van Quan lake, Ha Dong ward.
High-altitude fireworks have a total of 3,600 fireworks 600 fireworks per location); low-altitude fireworks have a total of 540 displays (each location = 90 displays); the fireworks display takes place in 15 minutes; the fireworks display takes place from 9:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. on September 2.
The city requested the Hanoi Capital Command to preside over and coordinate with the City Police to strictly direct patrolling, guarding, maintaining security, order, social safety, fire prevention and fighting, and ensuring absolute safety before, during and after fireworks at the fireworks display locations.
Hanoi City Police develop plans and strategies to ensure security, social order and safety, traffic safety; especially guide and ensure traffic flow around the fireworks display area; create conditions for vehicles carrying fireworks and technical vehicles to enter the site; ensure forces and means to carry out fire prevention and fighting tasks...
The city requires the People's Committees of the wards: Hoan Kiem, Tu Liem, Tay Ho, Hai Ba Trung to do a good job of propaganda and encouragement, organize cultural and artistic performances to serve the people at fireworks display locations; ensure timely handling plans when situations occur.
