That busy but warm atmosphere has become a familiar image every year-end, when everyone wants to prepare everything neatly to welcome a full and reunited new year.
At flower selling points on many streets such as Nguyen Sinh Sac, Hoang Thi Loan, Le Dai Hanh, Ong Ich Khiem, Nguyen Dinh Tuu,...(Da Nang City), small traders are selling all kinds of Tet flowers. Flower pots of yellow apricot blossoms, chrysanthemums, and ornamental kumquats are carefully tied to the back of the cars by people.
Ms. Le Thi Huyen (Ngu Hanh Son ward, Da Nang city) said that for her, Tet is a moment of reunion for her whole family. Usually in the days leading up to Tet, she and her mother stroll around to buy flowers to decorate the house to make the Tet atmosphere more bustling.
Every year, my younger sister comes home from Ho Chi Minh City to celebrate Tet, so my mother and I decorate the house and prepare in advance. The last days of the year in Da Nang are very colorful, with flowers, and the busy atmosphere before the New Year always gives me a feeling of excitement every Tet and Spring comes," Ms. Huyen said.
Amidst the bustling traffic flow, the image of people carrying flowers, cakes, jams and decorations creeping through each street has created a familiar sign that spring is coming very soon.
For many families, the journey to bring Tet home is not only a preparation work, but also a moment to preserve warm emotions before the moment of reunion.
