Hard work but happiness
Recorded at the Cai Rang Regional Health Center (Can Tho City) in mid-January 2026, the working atmosphere was urgent and bustling. At the Examination Department, despite the large number of patients, Dr. Le My Duyen (born in 1997) was still diligent in her professional work. For doctors, these days, although tired, they feel warm because they are serving the people.
The intensity of the days near Tet increases one and a half times, double the normal days, but I seem to not know fatigue but try my best. Even, I receive greetings from patients, so I feel very warm" - Dr. Duyen expressed.

The young female doctor revealed that the special thing is that this year, the joy came to Cai Rang Regional TTYT more completely when a few days ago, medical staff received money according to Decree 73.
Income from the new policy encourages a valuable spirit for brothers to firmly stick to the profession. For young people like me, it also energizes us to confidently follow the path we choose," the doctor added.
As for Doctor Mai Quyen - Deputy Head of the Department of Reproductive and Maternal Health Care (Cai Rang Regional Health Center), the bonus according to Decree 73 is likened to "Tet bonus", "13th month salary bonus" because the payment time is right close to the 2026 Lunar New Year.

Usually, at the beginning of the year, salaries come later due to depending on the new year's funding source. Therefore, this amount of money is paid in time, and is better than last year, making everyone excited, especially for families heavily worried about finances" - Dr. Mai Quyen said.
The female doctor recounted that right when she heard the "Ting Ting" sound from the phone, everyone looked at each other and smiled happily, constantly congratulating each other. There were young employees who did not dare to believe their eyes, even did not dare to think it was money from Decree 73.
Peace of mind on duty during Tet
The drastic and timely implementation of policies on salaries and allowances according to Decree 73 in health units in Can Tho City has created a positive effect. It can be clearly seen that this is not only a matter of income, but also a problem of retaining human resources and creating motivation to contribute.
Dr. Truong Ty - Director of Cai Rang Regional TTYT, Can Tho City - shared that, through observation, it can be seen that when the preferential treatment regime is improved, employees have reduced the worry of "food and clothing". From there, the attitude of service and the quality of medical examination and treatment have been significantly improved.

I believe that material concern will more or less encourage the spirit of medical staff, thereby they will also be assured to be on duty during Tet" - Dr. Ty said.
Calculating expenses, Ms. Le Thi An (Department of Pharmacy, Cai Rang Regional Health Center) confided: "Initially, I will worry about tuition fees for my child, then I will buy a few sets of clothes for my grandchild to celebrate, the rest will be used to cover expenses. We also look forward to a better Tet bonus this year, receiving practical care from the unit.
Doctor Truong Ty informed that the Board of Directors and the TTYT Trade Union have agreed to allocate resources to ensure Tet bonuses for all employees. Along with that, there are additional support regimes for difficult cases so that everyone has a complete Tet with the spirit of "no one is left behind".
