Ms. Bui Thu Huong (26 years old, living in Binh Thanh district) and her family went to the airport early to leisurely complete the procedures, however, the check-in time was faster than expected.
"Yesterday, I read the news and saw that the terminal was crowded and had to wait for a long time, so this morning I took the opportunity to go 3 hours earlier than my flight time to check in, but when I got here, I saw that the situation was quite clear, my family of 3 only took 30 minutes to complete the procedures," said Ms. Huong.
Similarly, Mr. Nguyen Hung (30 years old, living in Go Vap district) also went to the airport at 5:00 a.m. to catch the flight to Dong Hoi City (Quang Binh) at 7:15 a.m. It only took Mr. Hung 15 minutes to complete the procedures, including checking in his luggage.
"I still had time, so I ate breakfast and drank coffee at the airport, waiting for the plane to board," said Mr. Hung.
According to information from Tan Son Nhat International Airport, on January 25 (December 26), flight schedules and the number of passengers passing through the airport decreased slightly with 927 flights and more than 145,026 passengers arriving/departing.
Of which, the number of passengers on the outbound flight includes domestic and international with more than 91,000 passengers (yesterday 96,000 passengers) including: domestic more than 62,000 passengers, international more than 29,000 passengers.
