Tan Son Nhat Airport Operations Center said that today (February 15), the total number of flights is expected to reach 1,027 flights. Of which, there are 953 passenger flights. The total number of passengers through Tan Son Nhat International Airport is forecast to reach 157,141 people.
A notable point is the large difference when the number of visitors reached more than 95,100 people (of which domestic visitors accounted for more than 65,800 people), 1.5 times higher than the number of visitors, putting pressure on check-in halls and security screening areas during peak hours.

Regarding the allocation of operating infrastructure, data shows that overload is mainly concentrated in domestic terminals, in which Terminal T3 plays a "backbone" role when it is expected to serve up to 425 flights with a total of 62,539 passengers, becoming the area with the largest passenger traffic during the day.
Meanwhile, Terminal T1 (domestic) also carries 258 flights with nearly 35,000 passengers, while Terminal T2 (international) maintains more stability with 344 flights, serving nearly 60,000 arrivals and departures.

Faced with the situation that passenger traffic is maintained at the current level, representatives of Tan Son Nhat International Airport said that the unit has mobilized maximum resources, closely coordinated with security forces and ground service units to regulate traffic and divert traffic from afar.

To avoid flight delays due to congestion at check-in stages, passengers are recommended to proactively check in online to reduce waiting time. At the same time, passengers need to be present at the airport at least 2-3 hours before departure time and regularly monitor the electronic board to promptly grasp changes in departure gates or flight times.
