According to the operating plan for February 13, Tan Son Nhat airport is expected to serve 1,062 flights, including 979 passenger flights. The total forecast is 164,433 arrivals. Notably, the number of passengers departing is overwhelming with 104,884 people, while the number of arrivals is 59,549 people.

Operating pressure during the day is focusing on domestic terminals, especially the regulation between terminals T1 and T3. Terminal T1 is expected to serve 258 flights with more than 36,000 passengers (including 131 departure flights with 27,941 passengers).

Terminal T3 carries the largest workload when serving up to 454 departing and arriving flights, meeting the travel needs of nearly 65,000 passengers (225 departing flights with 44.336 passengers). At the international terminal (T2) alone, the operating pace is maintained stably with 350 flights, serving a total of more than 63,600 passengers in both directions.

To ensure safety and limit congestion, the Tan Son Nhat Airport Operations Center has closely coordinated with airlines and ground service units. Peak hours are specially monitored to regulate passenger movement from the check-in area to security screening.
Airport representatives recommend that passengers should proactively arrange their arrival time at the airport 2 hours in advance for domestic flights and 3 hours for international flights. At the same time, passengers should use online check-in methods to minimize waiting time at the counter.
