According to the official dispatch, the People's Committee of Can Tho City assigned the Department of Home Affairs (the standing agency of the Steering Committee for summarizing Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the city) to convey the opinions of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on the content of implementing the arrangement and consolidation of the organizational apparatus of administrative agencies, public service units and mass organizations assigned by the Party and State to each agency, unit and locality.
Regarding the merger of Can Tho Radio and Television Station into Can Tho Newspaper, and the merger of the City's Institute of Socio-Economics into the City's Political School, the Department of Home Affairs shall coordinate with the City Party Committee's Organization Board and relevant agencies and units to advise competent authorities for consideration and decision.
Regarding the dissolution of the Property Auction Service Center, the Department of Home Affairs shall coordinate with the Department of Justice based on local policies, regulations and practices to study and evaluate the impact factors, and report to the competent authority for consideration and decision on whether to continue to maintain operations or dissolve the center.
The Department of Home Affairs guides agencies, units, and localities in the procedures for merging, reorganizing, arranging, and perfecting the organizational apparatus of agencies, units, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and State according to the plan agreed upon by the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee.
At the same time, synthesize, appraise and develop a master plan to arrange and perfect the organizational structure of administrative agencies, public service units and mass organizations assigned by the Party and State, and report to competent authorities for consideration and comments.
