On June 28, according to information from the People's Committee of Nguyen Huan commune, Dam Doi district, Ca Mau province, a landslide had just occurred in the area, damaging many houses and collapsing rural traffic.
According to initial information, at around 10:00 p.m. on June 27, a landslide collapsed a rural traffic road of about 30m in Vam Dam hamlet.
The landslide also caused 8 houses of the people to collapse and fall into the river completely. The total estimated damage caused by the landslide is over 2.1 billion VND.
Also in Dam Doi district, at around 11pm on June 27, a landslide completely damaged the house of Ms. N.T.B (52 years old, living in Thanh Tung commune), causing an estimated loss of more than 40 million VND. Ms. B is a disabled person and is receiving benefits according to State regulations.
Immediately after receiving the information, local authorities quickly arrived at the scene to support people in relocating assets and fixing the problem.
At the same time, local leaders also organized a delegation to visit, support and encourage people to soon overcome difficulties to stabilize their lives.
