Flash floods continue to occur in some localities in the province on rivers and streams. Landslides on some roads cause traffic jams.
In Phuc Khanh commune, the roads from the center of Bao Yen district to the commune are temporarily cut off due to landslides.
In particular, Lang Nu village (where the terrible flash flood just occurred) was cut off due to flood water pouring in, and mud in the old area flowed out and blocked the main road leading to the village cultural house.
"Today, the commune has very heavy rain, many areas continue to have landslides, we have directed the villages to urgently evacuate people when seeing signs of danger," said Mr. Nong The Manh - Chairman of the People's Committee of Phuc Khanh commune.
It is known that Nu Village (Phuc Khanh Commune) located at the foot of Voi Mountain used to have 167 households and 760 people living there. On the morning of September 10, a flash flood occurred here, killing 58 people, 9 people are still missing.
In addition, a major landslide at km79, National Highway 279 in Ban Bong 3 village, Bao Ha commune (Bao Yen) occurred very complicatedly. Mud and soil from the mountainside flowed down to the road, seriously affecting people's travel.

In Sa Pa town, rain caused many landslides on Provincial Road 155, through Ngu Chi Son commune, leading to traffic jams.
Heavy rain also caused water levels in streams to rise. Local authorities advised people to absolutely not cross the spillway when the water is flowing rapidly and not to go near the stream banks to avoid damage to people and property.
In Lao Cai city, the water level on Ngoi Dum stream rose, affecting areas near the stream along National Highway 4D, in Bac Cuong and Kim Tan wards and Dong Tuyen commune, causing flooding.
