From March 1, Ho Chi Minh City Police officially deployed a new organizational model, ending the operation of district-level police. This raises the issue of arranging and managing warehouses and temporary storage areas for exhibits and administrative violations, as well as ensuring fire safety during the hot season.

On the afternoon of March 13, at a regular press conference on the socio-economic situation, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thang Long - Deputy Head of the General Staff of Ho Chi Minh City Police provided information that the reorganization of the apparatus does not disrupt the functions and tasks of the police force. The previous tasks of the district-level police, including managing warehouses and temporary parking lots for violating vehicles, have been allocated to the Ho Chi Minh City Police and the ward and commune police in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security.
Right before implementing the new model, Ho Chi Minh City Police have developed a plan to transfer, receive and manage warehouses and temporary detention areas for administrative violations strictly. This arrangement ensures compliance with legal regulations, without interrupting the handling of violating vehicles.

In addition to management work, the issue of ensuring fire safety at warehouses and temporary parking lots is also of special concern to Ho Chi Minh City Police. Fire prevention measures are deployed synchronously, regularly and enhanced during the peak dry season.
During the handover process, Ho Chi Minh City Police have fully implemented inspection and assessment procedures, ensuring that warehouses and temporary storage areas for vehicles meet fire safety requirements according to the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security. This work has not only been seriously implemented in the transfer period but will also continue to be maintained and periodically inspected in the coming time.
The end of the operation of district and county-level police is a major policy of the Party and State to improve the effectiveness of state management of security and order. Ho Chi Minh City Police affirmed that they will continue to deploy tasks throughout the city, ensuring safety and security in the city.
