On the morning of March 8, voters in Doc May, Hoi Ray and Nuoc Dang villages in Truong Son border commune, Quang Tri province participated in early elections for National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
From 7 am, at the polling station in Hoi Ray village, the voting atmosphere took place solemnly, seriously, and in accordance with regulations. In the community activity house of the village, voters took turns checking the list, receiving votes and exercising civil rights in order, showing a sense of responsibility for the great festival of the country.

Hoi Ray village currently has 35 households with 163 people, of which nearly 90 voters participate in the election. Despite difficult travel conditions, many voters still come to the polling station early to fulfill their rights and obligations.

To ensure that people go to the polls fully and on time, from early morning, Mr. Ho Ba - Head of Hoi Ray village went to each house to announce and remind people to prepare to go to the polling area. Thanks to that, immediately after the opening ceremony, voters in the village were present in large numbers.

In the voting area No. 16 of Hoi Ray village, all preparations were carried out thoughtfully. After the opening ceremony, the Election Team disseminated the rules and regulations and guided voters to correctly implement the voting process. Voters successively registered, received ballots and voted according to the provisions of law.

Ms. Ho Thi Mau (resident of Hoi Ray village) said that from dawn she woke up, took a boat across the Long Dai River to go to the polling station. For her, directly holding the ballot to elect National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels is an honor and also the responsibility of every citizen.
According to Mr. Vo Phuoc Doan - Head of Election Team No. 16, thanks to careful preparation and full propaganda, people in the village have high consensus and fully participate in the election.

At other polling stations such as Nuoc Dang and Doc May villages, the organization also took place smoothly. Although the area is remote and isolated, the local government and the Police and Border Guard forces stationed in the area have coordinated to fully prepare the necessary conditions for the voting to take place safely and in accordance with regulations.
Thanks to careful preparation, voters who are Bru-Van Kieu people in the border villages of Truong Son commune actively participated in the election, fully exercising their sacred rights and obligations on March 8.
Previously, due to the specific characteristics of the mountainous area, difficult transportation, Doc May, Hoi Ray and Nuoc Dang villages were allowed by the National Election Council to organize early elections 7 days before the election day nationwide. At these 3 polling stations, there were a total of 252 voters participating in voting, of which 5 voters were people with disabilities.

Mr. Hoang Manh Ha - Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, Chairman of the Truong Son Commune Election Committee - said that although travel conditions were difficult, on the morning of March 8, a large number of voters were present early to participate in voting. This is proof of the spirit of responsibility and consensus of the border people towards the important political event of the country.
According to Mr. Ha, voters have wisely selected deputies with virtue and talent, representing the will and aspirations of the people, contributing to building and protecting the Fatherland in the new period.
