On August 28, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Trach district (Quang Binh province) Phan Van Thanh said that the process of implementing related work on the 500kV Circuit 3 Line Project through the area has now been completed. Especially the consensus of the people as well as the local government during the project implementation process.
“Admittedly, the most difficult thing is site clearance. When the project started, progress accelerated so the entire political system had to get involved" - Mr. Thanh said.
Also according to Mr. Thanh, every local officer went to each household, encouraged and shared with each person for key national projects. After a period of explanation, the people all agreed to hand over the site to the construction unit.
Mr. Thanh shared: "The moment the site was handed over was when we saw the solidarity among the government and people. Initial difficulties were gently resolved, the site was cleared, helping the construction process comply with the schedule assigned by the Prime Minister."
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung - Deputy Head of Technical Department, Central Power Project Management Board - said that in Quang Binh, there are 13 completed electric poles with a length of about 3km located in Quang Trach district. Although the distance is not too long, there are certain difficulties here. Project progress requires fast progress, but the Central region faces many difficult weather, terrain, and human resources.
Deputy Technical Department, Project Management Board of Central Power Projects shared that the weather in the Central region is hot and sunny, with erratic rain and wind. The terrain in Quang Binh has many steep hills, making transporting huge supplies and equipment difficult. From here, the unit must pull the rope, set up the pole and arrange the appropriate manpower and time.
The unit mobilized machinery into the project to reduce labor and arranged working time for the construction force to ensure on schedule. Furthermore, labor safety is also given top priority by the Management Board, always supervised and inspected to help workers perform construction absolutely safely, along with ensuring project quality.
Ready for inauguration day
At the 500kV Quang Trach transformer station (Quang Trach district), the representative of Power Transmission Company 1 said that up to now, preparations for the inauguration day at this bridge point have been completed.
“This is an extremely important ceremony, one of 9 bridge points, so we have prepared very carefully from every stage. This is a new beginning, hopefully the operation of the line will create motivation for the country's economy to grow," said the representative.
The 500kV circuit 3 line project from Quang Trach to Pho Noi is invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation under Vietnam Electricity Group. The project has 1,177 column foundations, total investment of about 22,300 billion VND.
According to the Prime Minister's direction, the inauguration ceremony of the 500kV Circuit 3 Line Project from Quang Trach (Quang Binh) to Pho Noi (Hung Yen) will take place on August 29.
The ceremony will be held live, starting at 8:30 a.m. August 29, in Hung Yen province and connecting online to bridge points in 8 provinces where the line passes through, including: Quang Binh, Ha Tinh, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa , Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Hai Duong, Hung Yen.
The inauguration ceremony is expected to be attended by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the main bridge point of Hung Yen province, along with Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha at the Ha Tinh bridge point. Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long will attend at Thanh Hoa bridge.
