On the occasion of International Children's Day June 1st, many activities to care for and support children in difficult circumstances have been implemented by organizations, units and philanthropists in the province, contributing to bringing joy and motivation to children before the new school year.
Accordingly, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union - Vietnam Youth Federation of the province coordinated with units and philanthropists to visit and give gifts to children in difficult circumstances in many localities in the province.
A total of 1,370 cans of milk powder were donated to children. Of which, 100 cans of milk were donated at the Provincial Social Protection Center; 70 cans of milk were donated to children at the Educational Center for Disabled Children under the Provincial Continuing Education Center.

1. The remaining 200 cans of milk were transferred to school sites and schools in Nam Tuan, Hoa An, Ly Quoc, Yen Tho, Xuan Truong, Doc Lap and Phuc Hoa communes.
In addition, the working delegation also donated 10 bicycles to children at the Provincial Social Protection Center; supported Trinh Minh Quan, residing in Le Chung 9 group, Tan Giang ward, a water purifier, 60 notebooks, 3 sets of summer blankets and many other essential necessities.
On the same day, the Hanoi Golden Heart Club coordinated with philanthropists and benefactors to organize the "Tet for Children" program at Lung Kinh school and Phia Vieng school, Thong Nong commune.
At the program, the charity delegation presented 97 gifts to preschool and elementary school students of the two school sites. Each gift included confectionery, milk, school supplies and many items for living and studying.
At the same time, 77 households in Lung Khinh and Phia Vieng hamlets also received gifts of essential necessities.
The total cost of implementing the program is over 60 million VND.
These meaningful activities not only contribute to caring for the material and spiritual lives of children and people in difficult circumstances, but also demonstrate the spirit of mutual affection and community responsibility of organizations and philanthropists.
