At about 1:30 pm on March 6, in the area of Nguyen Van Linh - 3/2 intersection (Tan An ward, Can Tho city), a traffic accident occurred between a truck and a motorbike, causing a resident to be hospitalized for emergency treatment.
According to records, at the above time, a truck with license plate 62H – 059. 34 was traveling on Nguyen Van Linh street in the direction from O Mon ward towards Hung Loi bridge (Tan An ward). When arriving at the Nguyen Van Linh – 3/2 intersection area, this vehicle collided with a motorbike traveling through the intersection.
The collision injured the motorbike driver. Immediately after that, the victim was supported by people to be taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
At the scene, the motorbike was damaged after the collision. Reporters' records show that the road surface in this area has many scattered gravel and the road surface is damp.
Immediately after the incident occurred, police and militia forces quickly arrived at the scene to protect the scene, and at the same time organized traffic regulation to avoid congestion.
According to research, the Nguyen Van Linh - 3/2 intersection area is currently one of five traffic intersections in the city under construction to upgrade and complete urban traffic infrastructure.
