According to the announcement of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province, there are 4 electoral units for candidates for the 16th National Assembly and 20 electoral units for candidates for the Provincial People's Council, term 2026-2031.
In which, Election Unit No. 3 includes 15 communes and wards, including: Dong Hoi Ward, Dong Son Ward, Dong Thuan Ward, Kim Ngan Commune, Truong Son Commune, Truong Ninh Commune, Ninh Chau Commune, Quang Ninh Commune, Nam Trach Commune, Hoan Lao Commune, Bo Trach Commune, Dong Trach Commune, Bac Trach Commune, Nam Gianh Commune and Nam Ba Don Commune.
The total number of candidates for National Assembly deputies in constituency No. 3 is 5 people, including: Comrade Nguyen Huy Tien, Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Central Party Agencies, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chief Procurator of the Supreme People's Procuracy; Mr. Tran Vu Khiem, Standing Deputy Secretary of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee; Ms. Nguyen Minh Tam, Provincial Party Committee Member, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the National Assembly Delegation and People's Council of the province, Deputy Head of the full-time delegation of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Tri province; Ms. Le Dieu Linh, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Affairs Department, Office of the National Assembly Delegation and People's Council of Quang Tri province; Ms. Le Thi Hong Ngoc, Deputy Head of the Traffic Infrastructure Management Department, Department of Construction of Quang Tri province.
In a democratic and responsible atmosphere, voter meetings of candidates for the 16th National Assembly. Election unit No. 3 has become an important forum for voters to send their thoughts and aspirations.
One of the contents that received attention from voters is the work of preventing and combating corruption, wastefulness, and negativity. Voters expressed absolute confidence in the Party's leadership and the supervision of the National Assembly. At the same time, they hope that the work of preventing and combating corruption, wastefulness, and negativity will continue to be promoted in the coming time in accordance with the new direction.
At the end of the meetings, the biggest thing that remained was the voters' expectations for the bravery and intelligence of each National Assembly candidate. Voters wished the delegates to properly implement their commitments in their personal action program, truly being a solid bridge between the Party's will and the people's hearts.
Presenting the Action Program of the candidate for National Assembly Deputy of the 16th term, term 2026-2031 at voter contact conferences in Quang Tri province, Mr. Nguyen Huy Tien said that with nearly 40 years of working in the People's Procuracy sector, through many levels of procuracy and many positions in the Sector; in which, there were 2 years of being transferred to be the Head of the People's Procuracy of Quang Binh province, being attached to his hometown of the province is a profound mark in the working process of the comrade.
And today, after more than 10 years, I am lucky to return to my home province when the National Election Council introduced me to run for National Assembly deputy in constituency No. 3, Quang Tri province, including 03 wards and 12 communes. I deeply realize that the National Assembly is the highest representative body of the People, the highest state power body of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The National Assembly exercises constitutional and legislative powers, decides on important issues of the country and supremely oversees the activities of the State. National Assembly deputies are representatives of the will and aspirations of the people in their elected units and of the people of the whole country; are people who represent the people in exercising state power in the National Assembly. National Assembly deputies are responsible to voters and to the National Assembly for the performance of their duties and delegate powers. This is a great honor but also a very high responsibility to voters and the people of the whole country" - Director Nguyen Huy Tien shared.
The Head of the Supreme People's Procuracy affirmed: If elected by voters as a National Assembly Deputy of the 16th term, it will focus on key tasks, in which it will continue to lead and direct the entire sector to constantly innovate and improve the quality and efficiency of procuracy work; actively advise and propose judicial reform, build a clean, strong, democratic, and strict judiciary, protect justice, protect human rights, and citizen rights.
Quang Tri is a land rich in revolutionary traditions, a resilient and heroic "land of fire" in the two resistance wars against France and the United States. At the same time, it is a locality that is striving to rise strongly in socio-economic development. Being able to run for election in his hometown, comrade was very happy and respectful of the outstanding achievements that Quang Tri province has achieved in the past time. At the same time, sharing difficulties, challenges and issues that voters are concerned about.
With a sense of responsibility, if trusted by voters to be elected as a National Assembly Deputy of the 16th term, Director Nguyen Huy Tien clearly stated that he will focus on the following key tasks:
First, closely associate with the People, listen to and truthfully reflect the voices of voters. Fully perform the tasks, powers and responsibilities of National Assembly deputies; maintain close, close, and regular contact, listen to and promptly and truthfully reflect the opinions, thoughts and aspirations of voters and the People to the National Assembly and competent agencies for discussion and resolution, especially issues of economic development, social security and maintaining security and order, social safety and issues that voters are concerned about and propose.

With his work experience in the Procuracy sector, he will actively participate in the constitutional and legislative work of the National Assembly, contributing to concretizing the major policies of the Party, especially the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress and the strategic resolutions of the Party, contributing to removing institutional bottlenecks, unlocking resources, to promote growth to achieve double-digit goals, closely following practical requirements, and solving pressing issues that voters and people are concerned about.
Third, in his position as the head of the People's Procuracy sector, continue to lead and direct the entire sector to constantly innovate and improve the quality and efficiency of procuracy work; actively advise and propose judicial reform, build a clean, strong, democratic, and strict judiciary, protect justice, protect human rights, and citizen rights.
Fourth, contributing to promoting sustainable socio-economic development, digital transformation and administrative reform of the locality. Along with leaders and the National Assembly Delegation of the province, it will study and propose to the Government and central ministries and branches to pay attention to infrastructure investment, have appropriate mechanisms and policies to promote the potential and advantages of socio-economic development of the locality, such as: Tourism development, renewable energy, marine economy, economic restructuring associated with community interests and sustainable development.
Quang Tri province is located on the North-South traffic axis, about 500 km from Hanoi, with an area of 12,700km2, the 10th largest in the country, a population of 1.8 million people - ranked 23rd in the country, a 200 km long coastline, with many deep-water ports, 400 km of border lines, with many international border gates and an important East-West economic corridor.
After the merger, Quang Tri province has a strategic position and creates great room for development, including a large tourism map combining marine economy, forests, history, culture, spirituality, and nature. In particular, pay attention to social security, policies for people with meritorious services, sustainable poverty reduction support and response to climate change in the Central region; promote digital transformation, administrative reform, and constantly improve the quality of service to the people.
Fifth, continue to strengthen supervision and prevention of corruption, wastefulness, and negativity: Closely coordinate with functional agencies to strictly handle major corruption cases, focusing on recovering assets for the state; at the same time, coordinate to develop criminal policies in a strict, humane, and benevolent direction and open a path, contributing to creating development and integration in the new stage.
