On the afternoon of March 6, information from the Hanoi Market Management Sub-Department, through inspection and supervision work on March 6, gasoline and oil business activities in the city in general were stable.
Most gas stations maintain normal sales, publicly list prices and sell at the correct regulated prices, and have not recorded any abnormal price increases, stockpiling speculation or small-scale sales causing market disruption.
According to statistics from the Department of Industry and Trade, there are currently 453 gasoline and oil business locations in Hanoi. These establishments are assigned to manage by area to 25 Market Management Teams directly under the Hanoi City Market Management Sub-Department.
Based on the quick report of the Market Management Teams, on March 6, through the control process, violations were not detected, so inspection and handling were not carried out.


Previously, implementing document No. 1700/SCT-QLTM dated March 5, 2026 of the Department of Industry and Trade on implementing the direction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade for gasoline and oil business activities in the context of the complicated international situation, and document No. 544/TTTN-NV dated March 3, 2026 of the Domestic Market Management and Development Department - Ministry of Industry and Trade on strengthening inspection and control of gasoline and oil business activities, the Hanoi Market Management Sub-Department directed the Market Management Teams to proactively go to gasoline and oil business points in the area.
Market Management Teams have synchronously and urgently deployed the review and grasp of the business situation of gas stations and petroleum enterprises and promptly reported results.
At the same time, functional forces also strengthen propaganda and guidance for gasoline and oil traders to strictly comply with the provisions of law, and raise awareness of responsibility in ensuring supply and stabilizing the market.
The Hanoi Market Management Department said that the unit will continue to direct the Market Management Teams to strengthen grasping the situation in the area, supervising gasoline and oil business activities; promptly detect and strictly handle violations (if any), contributing to market stability and ensuring the rights of consumers.
