The accident occurred at about 10:30 am on the same day at Km 47+400 National Highway 9, passing through KLu village, Dakrong commune, Quang Tri province.
Initial information, at the above time, a mail truck with license plate 51D-124. xx driven by Mr. H.V. T, born in 1995, residing in Nam Dong Ha ward, was traveling in the direction of Dong Ha - Lao Bao.
When arriving at the above location, the mail truck reported a collision with a motorbike with unclear license plates driven by H.X. K, born in 2009, residing in Xa Ruc village, Huong Hiep commune. On the motorbike at this time was H.V. Q, born in 2009, residing in Ly Ton village, Dakrong commune.
The collision caused H.X. K to die on the spot, H.V. Q was seriously injured and taken to a medical facility for emergency treatment.
At the scene, the motorbike was damaged, lying under the undercarriage of the mail truck.
The cause of the accident is being further investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
