Ha Tinh - From May 11, functional units began clearing and overcoming landslides on the coastal road of Ha Tinh section in Hai Ninh ward.

Mr. Le Doan Thuc - Deputy Director of Ha Tinh Transport Construction Management and Construction Joint Stock Company said that from May 11, the unit began to deploy sweeping and handling of landslide points at Km 103+700 of Ha Tinh coastal road through Hai Ninh ward.

The handling plan is to level the slope, collect the soil and rocks at risk of landslides, affecting traffic safety. For large orphaned rocks, they will be chiseled before being transported elsewhere.

For the collapsed concrete wall section about 30m long, it will be replaced with stone cages to prevent landslides more effectively.

It is expected that the landslide treatment at Km 103+700 will take about 1 week. To serve the landslide recovery work, the Ha Tinh Department of Construction will divert and regulate traffic through the Km 103+700 section of the Ha Tinh coastal road in Hai Ninh ward.

Time for traffic diversion and regulation from 7:30 am on May 11 to the end of May 17, 2026.

Previously, on May 10, Ha Tinh Traffic Works Management and Construction Joint Stock Company coordinated with functional units to measure and count large stone blocks before starting to handle the landslide point.

According to calculations, at the landslide location on the coastal road of Ha Tinh through Hai Ninh ward, there are 8,000 - 9,000 cubic meters of soil and rock that need to be cleared.

This landslide point occurred during storms and floods in 2025. Previously, it was only temporarily repaired, now it will continue to be handled more thoroughly to ensure safety for vehicles in circulation.
