On the afternoon of March 18, the leader of the People's Committee of Dien Dien commune, Dien Khanh district (Khanh Hoa) informed that a serious work accident occurred in Trung 1 village on the same morning, injuring 5 workers.
Previously, at around 11am on March 18, a group of workers were constructing a welcome gate in the village when the scaffolding suddenly collapsed.
At the scene, 5 injured workers were taken to the emergency room by local people and related units. Of which, a person with minor injuries has asked to be transferred to Hospital 87 for treatment.
4 injured workers were transferred to Khanh Hoa Provincial Hospital.
The scene of the accident was blocked off immediately. Authorities in the area are urgently investigating and clarifying the cause of the accident.
