The first serious accident occurred at about 5 pm on June 12 at the intersection between provincial road 396 and inter-village road, belonging to Tho Xuyen village, Bac Thanh Mien commune. At the above time, a motorbike driven by Mr. D. Q. L (born in 1971, residing in Thanh Mien commune) on road 396 collided with a motorbike driven by Mr. P.V. S (born in 1950, residing in Bac Thanh Mien commune) crossing the road. As a result, Mr. S died on the way to the hospital, Mr. L was injured.
The second incident occurred at about 8:03 pm on the same day at Km84+500 National Highway 5, in Hong An ward. Accordingly, Mr. L.V. K (born in 1964, residing in Hong An ward) was driving a motorbike in the direction of Hai Phong - Hanoi when he collided with another motorbike driven by a woman (identity not yet determined). After the collision, Mr. K lost control, rushed to the left and continued to collide with a tractor-trailer driven by Mr. D. V. L (born in 1978, residing in Le Dai Hanh ward, Hai Phong). The related collision caused Mr. K to be seriously injured and taken to the emergency room. By 5:05 am on June 13, the victim had died.
Also on June 12, at about 6:50 PM at Km10+200 TL390B route, passing through Nhan Luc village, Ha Bac commune, an accident occurred between a motorbike driven by Mr. L.T. D (born in 2008, Ha Bac commune) and an electric bicycle driven by Ms. T.T. T (born in 1978, from the same commune). At the time of the accident, Ms. T was driving an electric bicycle across the road to Du La village, carrying child L.V. B. L (born in 2024) on the vehicle. The collision injured the child. Currently, functional agencies are continuing to investigate and clarify the causes of the accidents.
