On December 19, the leader of Nam Dong Medical Center (Hue City) said that the unit is monitoring and taking care of the health of 3 victims in a family who suffered a traffic accident on the La Son - Hoa Lien Expressway.
At about 11:30 a.m. the same day, Nam Dong Medical Center received 4 victims transferred by the Hue Metro - SOS75 Team, including Mr. Ngo Minh Hai N. (born in 2003), Ms. Tran Thi Diem H. (born in 2005), son Ngo Minh Q. (9 months old) and biological father Mr. N. Mr. Ngo Van H. (born in 1975, all residing in Da Nang City). At the time of hospitalization, Q. had died; the remaining 3 people suffered soft tissue injuries and were being treated.
According to initial information, all 4 people were in a car traveling in the direction of Hue - Da Nang. When reaching Km 13, passing through Khe Tre commune, Hue city, the vehicle lost control and crashed into a hard object on the side of the road, causing an accident.
Upon receiving the news, the Southeast Medical Center coordinated with the Hue City 115 Emergency Transport Center and the Hue 0 VND Team - SOS75 to quickly arrive at the scene for rescue.
At the scene, the car's front end was severely damaged, the side seat tires exploded, and many parts were thrown away. The cause of the accident is being investigated and clarified by the police.
