On the evening of March 8, Road Traffic Police Team No. 6 (CSGT) - Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police arranged 4 working groups to check alcohol concentration on roads under their management.
After about 3 hours of duty, functional forces discovered 13 violations, including 7 car drivers and 6 motorbike drivers.
Notably, in the area of Ho Tung Mau - Tran Vy street (Phu Dien ward, Hanoi), the task force stopped to inspect a car of the funeral home with license plate 29M-003. XX.
Through inspection, driver V.T. H (born 1986, residing in Hanoi) was determined to have an alcohol concentration in his breath at 0.071mg/L of breath.

For the act of driving a vehicle when the alcohol concentration in his breath was below 0.25mg/L, the driver was issued a fine of 7 million VND, deducting 4 points from the driver's license (GPLX). The related car was also sealed and temporarily detained for 7 working days.
Also on the same evening, on Dai Mo street (Dai Mo ward, Hanoi), functional forces discovered driver N.D. T (born 1984) driving a limousine car with license plate 29B-409. XX violating the alcohol concentration at 0.261mg/L of breath.
In addition to the violation of alcohol concentration exceeding 0.25mg/L to below 0.4mg/L of breath, this person also could not present a driver's license and vehicle registration certificate when inspected.
For the above violations, driver N.D. T was fined a total of 41 million VND and the vehicle was temporarily detained for 7 working days.

Lieutenant Colonel Pham Van Chien - Head of Road Traffic Police Team No. 6 said that alcohol concentration tests are carried out with all types of vehicles, regardless of personal vehicles, transport business vehicles, ambulances or funeral home vehicles.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Chien, the traffic police force will continue to maintain regular inspections and strictly handle violations with the spirit of "no forbidden zones, no exceptions", in order to contribute to preventing traffic accidents.
Information from the Hanoi Traffic Police Department, implementing the direction of the Director of the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security), on the evening of March 8, Hanoi traffic police forces simultaneously deployed alcohol concentration control throughout the area.
As of 0:15 on March 9, through controlling 6,370 vehicles, functional forces discovered and handled 148 cases of alcohol concentration violations (including 138 cases of motorbike driving, 8 cases of car driving, and 2 other vehicles).
