On March 9, Road Management Office I.4 said that on the North-South expressway, the Tam Diep - Van Thien tunnel section, a traffic accident just occurred between a container truck and a passenger car, causing traffic through the area to be restricted.
According to reports, at about 1:15 am on March 9, at Km349+700 in the direction of Hanoi to Nghe An, belonging to Nong Cong commune, Thanh Hoa province, a collision occurred between a container truck with license plate 37H-069.11 pulling a trailer with license plate 37RM-035.04 and a passenger car with license plate 37H-148.86.
The accident damaged two vehicles. Traffic through the area is temporarily restricted to two lanes.

Immediately after the incident occurred, the expressway operating team coordinated with Team 3, Traffic Police Department (C08) to organize traffic regulation and ensure traffic safety at the scene.
Currently, functional forces are investigating and clarifying the cause of the accident.
