On the afternoon of August 4, the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police Department coordinated with Binh Trung Ward Police to draw up a record to handle driver T (36 years old) for swerving and swerving on the highway, endangering other road users.
Previously, a video circulating on social media recorded the image of a tractor-trailer with a HCMC license plate continuously changing lanes suddenly while running on the HCMC - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway, towards Long Thanh Bridge.
After verification, the police invited representatives of A.P Company (vehicle owner) and driver T to work. At the police station, driver T admitted his actions and stated that, due to sadness about his family, he acted to weave and swerve to cover his eyes when he saw the road.
The driver was issued a record of driving a car in a zigzag manner on the road. According to regulations, drivers will be fined from 40-50 million VND, have their driving licenses revoked for 10-12 months, and have their vehicles confiscated if they repeat the same act.
