On the afternoon of October 15, information from the People's Committee of Tan Thang commune (Quynh Luu district, Nghe An) said that an accident between two cars had just occurred in the commune, causing two drivers to be hospitalized.
At about 1:45 p.m. the same day, a cargo truck with license plate 89H-014.xx was traveling on Highway 36 in the direction of Nghia Dan district to Hoang Mai town. When reaching hamlet 1-5, the truck collided with a tractor-trailer moving in the opposite direction.
At the scene, the truck was hit by the trailer and forced into the guardrail on the right side of the road. Part of the rear of the truck was thrown into the trees. The truck's cabin and cargo bed were deformed, and many goods were scattered everywhere. The trailer's cabin was also damaged and partially crushed.
Discovering the accident, people nearby ran to help, opened the cabin to rescue the two drivers and took them to the hospital for emergency treatment.
Upon receiving the report of the accident, the Traffic Police - Quynh Luu District Police were present at the scene to examine and investigate the cause of the incident.
