Information from Tien Dien commune (Ha Tinh province) said that at about 5:30 pm on June 22, the locality received a report from people about the discovery of a male body wearing black shorts, wearing a life jacket in the Xuan Thanh beach area, Tien Dien commune.
Functional forces have identified the body as Mr. N.T. P (born in 1972, residing in Truong Vinh Ward, Nghe An province).
At about 9 pm on the same day, the victim's family came to receive Mr. P's body to bring back for burial.
Through working, Mr. P's family said that Mr. P went swimming with his son N.T. T (born in 2013, residing in Truong Vinh Ward, Nghe An province).
According to the leader of Tien Dien commune, while swimming in the sea, Mr. P and his son had an accident, causing the father to die and the son to go missing.
Currently, Tien Dien Commune People's Committee is mobilizing forces including police, military, and border guards to organize the search for baby T.
