At noon on June 16, functional forces of Lam Dong Provincial Police coordinated with Tan Thanh commune authorities to continue to deploy the search for a male tourist who went missing while swimming in the sea.
According to information from Tan Thanh Commune Police, at about 6 pm on June 15, T.H. T (born 2011, residing in Tay Ninh province) and a friend went swimming at the beach of a tourist area in Ke Ga village, Tan Thanh commune.
While swimming in the sea, T. was unfortunately swept away by the waves and went missing.
Immediately after receiving the news, Tan Thanh Commune Police mobilized forces to the scene, and at the same time coordinated with the Fire and Rescue Police Department of Lam Dong Province, Tan Thanh Border Guard Station and local people to organize the search for the victim.
The search force has deployed many survey measures in the area where the incident occurred and the surrounding sea area. Until about 10 am on June 16, functional forces had not yet found T.
Currently, search and rescue work is still being continued. Tan Thanh Commune Police have issued a notice to search for missing people and expand the search area, hoping to find the victim soon.
