The Phan Thiet airport access road project (phase 2) is 3.63 km long, with a 13.5 m wide road surface and 5 m wide sidewalks on each side.
The project is invested by the Binh Thuan Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board with a total investment of about 117.9 billion VND. The project also includes drainage, tree, lighting and fire-fighting water supply systems.
Recorded on the afternoon of December 10 at this project, many groups of workers and machines were busy working at many locations. Near the end of the project, construction teams were spraying and paving a section of about 1.5km of road surface.
The asphalt concrete section on the right side of the route (from Vo Nguyen Giap to the airport) has been completed, the asphalt section on the left side of the route is in the process of being completed.
Many other workers are working on paving sidewalks, drainage pipes, etc. According to records, the lighting system, trees, and signs have been completed.
A supervisor at the construction site said that the asphalt paving of the entire main route will be completed in just a few days.
The Phan Thiet airport access road project connecting Phan Thiet International Airport with the Vo Nguyen Giap coastal road, started construction in January 2024 and is scheduled to be completed on December 22, 2024.
