    On November 27, the People's Committee of Quang Phong Ward (Ba Don Town, Quang Binh Province) said that a fishing boat had just lost contact at sea.

    Fishing boat number QB-98889-TS, owned and captained by Mr. Pham Van Thuong (residing in Quang Phong ward, Ba Don town), departed from Tinh Ky port (Quang Ngai province) on November 13.

    At 2:51 a.m. on November 18, the fishing boat lost connection about 70 nautical miles east of Ly Son Island, and there is still no information.

    Fishing boat QB-98889-TS is 23.5m long, 822CV capacity, working as a purse seine; there are 2 people on board (1 boat owner and 1 crew member).

    Authorities are currently mobilizing forces to search for the lost fishing boat.
