On September 24, Truong Sa Island Infirmary (Truong Sa District, Khanh Hoa) was still treating fishermen from Binh Dinh who had an accident while fishing in Truong Sa.
On the evening of September 23, Ship 404 of the 4th Sea Region Command approached fishing boat BD 97906 TS to pick up a fisherman diagnosed with acute appendicitis and take him aboard for care.
The fisherman in distress is Le Dinh Bin (born in 2009) - a member of the fishing boat BD 97906 TS, captained by Ngo Van Quan (born in 1968, also residing in Hoai Nhon, Binh Dinh).
Previously, fishing boat BD 97906 TS departed from Quy Nhon fishing port, Binh Dinh on August 20. While working at sea, Mr. Le Dinh Bin suffered from abdominal pain of unknown cause.
At the time of the fisherman's accident, fishing boat BD 97906 TS was in Tien Nu Island's port and was then taken to Tien Nu Island for emergency treatment, diagnosis and transfer to another hospital for treatment.
Immediately after approaching Tien Nu Island, the medical team of Ship 404 performed first aid and provided special health care to the victim.
