According to the reporter's investigation, the current headquarters and facilities of the Dong Nai Employment Service Center (abbreviated as the Center) were invested in and built by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in 2010, put into operation in April 2013 and then handed over to Dong Nai province for management. After that, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Dong Nai province issued a document assigning the Center to use until now.
Currently, the Center operates employment services, unemployment insurance, and labor supply within Dong Nai province. However, the Center does not fully utilize its construction area and land area.
It is known that to avoid wasting land, on March 9, 2017, Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee issued Document No. 2042/UBND-CNN on investing in the Dong Nai University Practice School project.
In particular, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province assigned the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Dong Nai province to specifically review the need for land use for the center.
After reviewing, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Dong Nai province agreed to hand over the remaining land area of 28,750.8m2 to Dong Nai province to serve the construction needs of Dong Nai University Practice School.
On August 29, 2017, the Centre was granted a Land Use Right Certificate No. CK-292101 by the Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Dong Nai province, with a total land area of 40,182m2.
According to the Centre, this unit is not provided with annual maintenance funds. Up to now, many areas have degraded, the electricity, water and air conditioning systems are often severely damaged, the repair costs are large, and the Centre's revenue is limited, so there is no funding for repairs, which significantly affects the implementation of the centre's general tasks.
On September 25, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien - Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Dong Nai province said: This is a project handed over by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, for maintenance and repair, it must be included in the medium-term public investment plan.
It is known that initially, the investment project was named Southern Region Job Introduction Center.
